Youth Voice Business Breakfast: February 22nd
We held our first Business breakfast of the year on 22nd February, kindly hosted by London Councils. We launched our new Youth Friendly Employment Framework and explored the first of our Youth Friendly principles : Youth Voice.
Our Youth Friendly Employment Framework underpins the good practice required to support, engage and employ young people. You can read more about the new framework here.
Youth Voice:
Youth Voice is the first of our Youth Friendly Principles, each principle of our charter was designed in partnership with young people. For us Youth Voice is “a commitment to listening to young people and to providing opportunities for their voice to be heard within a community or organisation”. We invited Humanutopia, Costain and Talent Match Black Country to share how they encourage and support youth voice and how they have successfully implemented a youth voice strategy.
