What Is Being Made Redundant?
Redundancy, or being made redundant, is one of the ways you can lose your job in the UK. It refers to an employer cutting jobs either for economic reasons, or because certain roles are no longer needed. You can read more about redundancy and our help and support here.
What if my employer is now insolvent?
There is additional support available to you if you have been made redundant and your employer is now insolvent. You can find the latest guidance here.
