Zebra Access is a Deaf-led charity dedicated to ensuring that all Deaf and Hard of Hearing people enjoy equal participation and access without communication barriers.

The Charity is recruiting a Wellbeing Apprentice through the Kickstart scheme.

As a Wellbeing Apprentice you will support the co-ordination of the service and community activities to ensure effective service delivery, working closely with the Wellbeing Officer, as required.

You will actively engage with local Deaf, Deafblind and Hard of Hearing people and communities to identify the areas where communication barriers are affecting their lives; respond to these identified needs through training and active participation.

To be eligible for this role you will be personable and friendly with excellent communication skills and keen to learn. 

PLEASE NOTE: 

You must be aged 16-24 and in receipt of Universal Credit to apply for these opportunities. You cannot apply for a Kickstart Placement directly with an employer. You need to be referred to these opportunities by your Work Coach.
