As an apprentice web developer, you will be immersed in an environment, with General Medical Council, that will help you develop your career by working alongside experienced software development teams.

You will become familiar with industry-standard software web development methods and learn to understand the importance of accuracy, innovation, and teamwork to create great software.
You will be involved in the full development lifecycle and will be given the opportunity to use what you have learnt to solve real business problems with software.
General Medical Council looking for an individual who works well within a team, has a natural interest in technology and is enthusiastic to learn how to build high quality software products.
Main responsibilities:
- Produce detailed specifications and developing code according to guidelines
- Convey technical detail to a variety of audiences
- Review and understanding our current systems and architecture
- Present ideas for system improvements, including cost analysis
- Work closely as a team with developers, analysts, product owners and stakeholders
- Test output in controlled, feasible situations
- Maintain systems, both new and legacy
- Any other reasonable duties as assigned from time to time
About This Apprenticeship
Annual wage: £17,158.00
Working week: Monday to Friday, shifts TBC.
Total hours per week: 37.50
Expected duration: 15 months
Apprenticeship level: Advanced, Level 3 (A level)
