Fairway Training deliver a pre-employment training programme that equips people with a Care certificate and entry into local employment in the sector.
The WMCA has developed a new skills and training plan for health and care, which sets out the training available across the West Midlands from entry through to degree level and the different routes that can be taken.

Postive Futures – Pet-Xi

4 Steps to Progress – NEET and project delivered by Workpays
4 Steps to progress is designed to support young people aged 16-24 through a range of qualifications and provide them with skills, competency and knowledge to enable them to move onto a positive destination. For more information on these programmes, visit the website.
Progress Project
The project works with young people aged 15 to 24 who are NEET or at risk of NEET and helps them to overcome barriers to work and progress into a positive destination.
There are Progress Coaches across the county who work for a variety of local organisations, and offer up to 12 months of tailored, one-to-one support for young people to help build confidence, upskill, and find the right destination for them.
