This Traineeship work experience is part of an education and training programme that is focused on giving young people the skills and experience that employers are looking for. At its core is the Work Preparation training, English and maths for those who need it, and a high-quality work experience placement.

Are you eligible?

Are you currently not in a job? Do you have little or no work experience?

Are you aged 16 to 24?

Your daily duties may include:

•  Fitting of underlay
•  Knowledge of tools required for the job
•  Material and warehouse knowledge – making yourself familiar with material location within the warehouse
•  Adhesive/ latex knowledge – ensuring you know which adhesives to use and how for each product in varying scenarios
•  Grippering
•  Planning the job from start to finish
•  Problem solving and escalating only when necessary
•  Following processes and procedures in line with company requirements
•  Understanding job sheets and drawings to ensure accuracy and to avoid unnecessary wastage
•  Loading jobs from the warehouse
