This Traineeship work experience is part of an education and training programme that is focused on giving young people the skills and experience that employers are looking for. At its core is the Work Preparation training, English and maths for those who need it, and a high quality work experience placement.

Traineeships help unlock your great potential and give you the work preparation training, maths, English, Digital Skills and work experience needed to get an Apprenticeship or other job.

Are you eligible?

• Are you currently not in a job? Do you have little or no work experience?
• Are you aged 16 to 24 and qualified below Level 4?

Your work experience will include you spending time in all departments of the business, so you learn all aspects of the business these will include;

• Observation of dental procedures
• Shadowing and supporting the reception area
• Undertaking general admin duties
• learning how to deliver good customer service
• Answering the telephone
• Communicating with patients
• Learn how a deal with referrals
• Contribute to our digital marketing and social media to promote the business

You will be doing 3 days a week with the employer, completing your work experience, which will include you both observing and participating in all departments across the practice including; dental procedures – reception area – general admin duties – taking phone calls – communicating with patients – learning about referrals – learning about new digital equipment – use of social media & digital marketing

You will spend 2 days a week with TheLightBulb, completing focused training such as, skills for confidence, customer service, digital marketing, English & Maths etc

The whole programme will take between 6-8 weeks
