Apprenticeships and training continue to be top of the agenda in meetings across the UK. The recruitment and competition of attracting new apprentices is a constant struggle.
Erasmus+ Key Action 1 VET placements offer a great way to give your apprentices experience in industry as part of their vocational qualification, and your organisation a competitive advantage by providing more attractive and worthwhile courses, as well as allowing you to create links with other organisations in Europe.
Funding is set to increase and will be available again in 2018, where we would welcome back our experienced organisations and hope to see some new organisations begin their Erasmus+ journey.
Many of the funded organisations are already benefiting from Key Action 1 VET funding to enhance their apprenticeships and traineeships, including major motor manufacturers, national college consortiums and Trailblazer universities.
