Lensfield Medical Practice is a long-established Cambridge GP surgery are looking to attract apprentice to join their team as Primary Care Network Care co-Ordinator/ Patient Services co-Ordinator.

Main Duties and Responsibilities of Patient Services Co-ordinator:

• Review patient enquiries via accurx online system
• Offer patients an appointment booking service, by phone and face-to-face
• Administer the appointment booking system
• Answer patient enquiries with the support of other practice staff as necessary
• Prepare repeat prescriptions in accordance with the practice policies and protocols.
• Undertake all tasks associated with the day-to-day running of the IT clinical system including the links with patient services
• Undertake all other administrative duties necessary to support the smooth running of the surgery and as directed by the Patient Service Coordinator Supervisors or Practice Manager
• Be aware of the responsibility of all employees to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors and staff
• Ensure that all duties are carried out to the highest possible standard and in accordance with any current quality initiatives
• Any other duties as required from time to time
