About the opportunity

As a payroll Apprentice at Sodexo‘s People Centre in Salford, Manchester; the successful candidate will be given the amazing opportunity to begin their career of a lifetime, whilst being coached, supported and developed by a knowledgeable team. You will be receiving hands on work experience as well as working towards a recognised Payroll qualification.

Role Responsibility

What you will be doing:

• Operating the SAP payroll system and all systems linked to your role
• Understanding Statutory payroll legislations for the UK and ROI
• Payroll queries of a high volume across the UK and ROI
• Working to strict deadlines
• No payroll issues as a result on noncompliance of procedures
• All data entered accurately and in accordance with specific timescales
• All Internal Audit controls passed
• Sodexo payrolls processed in accordance with deadlines
• Employees are paid in line with contractual, statutory and company policy
