What makes a job application, a good job application?
We want to know what you think of the way companies recruit young people.
Where is the best place for a company to post their vacancy? Do you check in with the Jobcentre every day or are you searching online? Maybe it’s by word of mouth?
What do you think about the job descriptions and person specifications some companies use, do you even read them?
Have you ever completed a job application online and received an immediate thank you but no thank you? How did it make you feel?
Is feedback important to you, what sort of feedback would you like?
There are lots of companies working hard to try and recruit young people, but we sometimes hear that the process is a bit of a turn-off. So we want to know what you think and then we are going to share the findings with our members so that they can see if there is a way to make their processes more “Youth Friendly”.
The survey will only take 5 minutes and we would love it if you could share it within your network. The more responses the better the picture we can give to our brilliant employers who really do care about getting it right.
Take part and have your say!
The deadline is June 30th and the report will be available to members in July.
Thanks, Team YEUK
