We are delighted to announce that Neil Burke has joined the Youth Employment UK team this week! Neil has taken on the role of Ambassador Manager.
Neil will be working to support, develop and grow our national network of Youth Ambassadors. In his role he will also be championing our Young Professional Membership and working with our Youth Partners.
Neil has worked in children and young people services for 11 years. He was the Regional Development Officer for Youth Focus North East where he supported a number of young people through a range of education and employability programmes and partnerships, many of which were co-produced with young people.
In his role with Youth Employment UK he will be working with our Youth Ambassadors across the Country, setting up Regional Teams where young people can come together to understand the needs of their community and build local youth employment initiatives. Ambassadors will receive additional support and training under Neil’s leadership and be empowered to work on multiple projects locally and nationally.
I know he is going to be a phenomenal asset to our team and the young people we support.
