The Foundation for Education Development (FED) launched the FED National Consultation Report, you can download the full report here.
During the last 14 months, the FED has conducted the widest qualitative national consultation of England’s Education system ever held. This short report makes the case for education to be one of the key driving forces for the long-term economic and social success of England. From their consultations, the report identifies four key workstreams that can be used to build a long-term vision and plan for education. These will be organised into the following:
Workstream 1 – To develop a vision, purpose and objectives for at least a 10-year plan.
Workstream 2 – To build a framework to develop and govern the plan.
Workstream 3 – To explore different approaches to levelling up and place-based strategies to generate and sustain educational excellence.
Workstream 4 – To identify the most effective frameworks for embedding equity and inclusion in our education system.
