Carers
If you’re a carer needing support you can contact all of the above as well as Carers Direct and the Carers Trust, both of whom are able to provide support and advice on any issues affecting you.
NHS – Returning to work after mental health issues
If you’ve had a mental health problem and been off or out of work, you may be worried about going back. The NHS has an advice page, along with lots of advice for life situations and events, including bereavement, financial issues, or loneliness as an older person.
Working Minds
Unemployment is one of the major causes of psychological distress and disturbance in the modern world. Through it’s work with the DWP and the Flexible Support Find, Working Minds has helped many hundreds of unemployed people from every age and stage to psychological recovery, improving their life and work outcomes and in many instances, helping facilitate people into jobs through their relationships with Employers and Recruiters. Remploy Mental Health Support Service
This confidential service, delivered by Remploy and funded by the Department for Work and Pensions, is available at no charge to any employees (or people wanting to return to work) with depression, anxiety, stress or other mental health issues affecting their work.
