Not only will the chosen personnel work with skilled and experienced engineers they will also gain qualifications as a mechanical or electrical engineer.
The period of the apprenticeship is 42-48 month. This will include day release to college once a week to gain the theory-based qualifications required. We are looking to commence these apprenticeships in September 2022.
Qualifications and Development
All apprentices are required to achieve a minimum of:
- (College) Level 2 diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering
- (College) Level 3 diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering
- (In-Company) level 3 Diploma in Advance Manufacturing Engineering
- Internal and External training provided for the individuals to gain as much experience, knowledge, and qualifications as possible for their future careers
Purpose of / Responsibilities of the role
Adhering to health and safety standards. Also following company rules and regulations
Working alongside highly qualified and experienced engineers on our manufacturing plant
Carrying out maintenance and repairs on cement plant equipment
A detailed plan will be given for experience in other areas within a cement plant to gain full knowledge of the process
