How it works

1. Sign up

Tell us about yourself and if you meet the eligibility criteria we’ll confirm your free space.

2. Meet your coach

Schedule your first video call with your coach to talk about your journey so far and where you’d like to go.

3. Create an action plan

Together with your coach you’ll work on a 12-week action plan where you will choose the right sector and role for you. You’ll also develop employability skills, which means things like advice on your CV and cover letter to stand out, interview practice and advice, jobsearch tips, how to prep for tech tests or group assessments. We’ll also help boost your confidence and public speaking skills.

4. Stay connected

Check in with your coach every four weeks to track progress and refine your action plan.

5. Celebrate!

Celebrate your wins and keep going until you land the role for you.

FAQ’s

Why is the coaching programme only 12 weeks?

So that we can ensure we’re supporting as many Londoners as possible?

Your coach will be unable to provide additional 1:1 support beyond the 12 week period but we encourage you to continue to attend London Hub events and partner events

If you have pre-existing travel plans/doctor’s appointments/commitments, please let your coach know and you can make alternate arrangements to meet.

What if I need additional adjustments?

You can notify us via the application form. Please add as much detail as possible so we know how best to support you.

Will I need to pay anything?

No – this service is completely free to you thanks to our funding from the Greater London Authority and Mayor of London, all costs are covered.
