The guide answers job seekers’ questions regarding working in local government including information on the great benefits that come along with doing so.
Often, people aren’t aware of the huge range of careers available in local government, this guide aims to raise awareness of the opportunities. Included within the guide are case studies from 21 people working in councils across the West Midlands showcasing their current roles and careers to date, giving you an insight into local government from the employees themselves.
Areas covered in the guide include social work, public health, legal, finance and planning among many others.
