It’s not a careers fair, but National Careers Week is still a must-have on the careers events calendar for teachers and career advisers, students and school-leavers, and parents. National Careers Week celebrates UK careers guidance and free education resources. It helps to bring together students, employers, educators and career advisers through careers events and activities.


8th – 17th March

British Science Week

The theme for British Science Week 2024 is ‘time’! Getting involved in British Science Week is really easy. You can participate in lots of different ways, from attending events (see the website for details) to downloading activity packs and setting up events yourself.

London Job Show

You can turn up to the London Job Show on the day without registering to enjoy a wide range of free workshops and career clinics. You’ll find employers and job opportunities from a wealth of sectors including healthcare, business and administration, protective services, hospitality and catering, retail, fashion and digital technology – to name a few!

The Big Bang Fair

Calling all young scientists and engineers… The Big Bang Fair is the UK’s largest celebration of science, technology and maths for young people. Enjoy a day of amazing hands-on workshops and activities. Led by Engineering UK, The Big Bang Fair is a free event that gets school groups and families excited about science and maths.
