Environment Agency help people and wildlife adapt to climate change, work to reduce the impacts of flooding, drought, rising sea levels and coastal erosion. They improve the quality of our water, land and air by addressing pollution and work with businesses to help them comply with environmental regulations.
As an Apprentice Business Analyst (BA) you will learn about the approaches and techniques used by BAs. You will be supported by a Mentor and be working under the guidance of experienced Business Analysts on real-life projects, helping to identify and analyse a range of business problems and deliver IT solutions.
During your apprenticeship you will be required to produce a portfolio of work demonstrating your learning and application of different tools and techniques including:
Investigating Techniques
Business Process Modelling
Requirements Engineering and Management
Gap Analysis
Stakeholder Analysis and Management
Business Impact Assessment
Agile Ways of Working
Successful candidates will have:
An eye for detail and ability to produce accurate work
Good interpersonal, team working and communication skills
Good organisational and planning skills and ability to work to deadlines under pressure
Qualifications
Five GCSEs grades 4-9 (C or above) including Maths and English Language.
