Serco are providing a Fully funded Level 3 Certificate in Cyber Security Practices! Developed with employers in the IT sector, this course provides you with the knowledge and skills needed for multiple roles in IT, including Cloud Administrator, IT Security Support and Cyber Security Analyst.
The course is delivered 100% remotely and is self-directed study meaning learners can complete work at their own pace and a time to suit each individual.
All learners have access to a dedicated Skills Coach and Digital Tutor to access support and guidance throughout the course.

- The Foundations of Cyber Security – understanding cyber security principles and threat intelligence
- How to Avoid Attacks – cyber security testing, vulnerabilities, and controls
- How to Respond to Attacks – cyber security incident response
- The Legal and Personal Aspect – understanding legislation, ethical conduct and professional skills and behaviours
Entry requirements
This course is open to:
- adults aged 19+
- anyone whether they are employed or unemployed
- adults living in Birmingham, Coventry, Dudley, Sandwell, Solihull, Walsall or Wolverhampton
Learners will ideally have Level 2 in English and Maths, and be competent using IT systems and have access to IT equipment.
You must have an eligible postcode with the West Midlands Combined Authority area.
