learndirect case study by Yusuf Salam – Developing People

Youth Employment UK are encouraging our Youth Ambassadors to collaborate with our Community members to produce case studies around the five principles within the Youth Friendly Charter.

Iain Salisbury from learndirect volunteered to provide a case study around the principle ” Developing People”

Yusuf opens his case study with these comments:

The purpose of my case study with learndirect Apprenticeships is to explore the relationship it upholds with the Youth Friendly Charter, which is a code of practice our members work towards. Firstly, learndirect are the UK’s largest provider of skills, training and employment services. They offer services with delivery of qualifications, such as Maths, English and IT. They also deliver vocational qualifications, including Apprenticeships and Traineeships in a variety of sectors such as Care, Professional Services and Retail.

The Youth Employment UK Community Members are leading the way for other organisations to become Youth Friendly.
