This event features a range of invaluable sessions to help you thrive in the tech industry:
- Learn about what a bootcamp is, what different FREE bootcamps are available and what subjects they cover, how long it typically takes to complete one, and how to apply for one.
- Hear from people who have recently successfully completed a bootcamp and used their new skills to secure a tech job! Hear about their experiences and ask them any questions you might have!
- Hear from some of the organisations who deliver the bootcamps themselves, and get the opportunity to ask them any specific questions you might have about the actual course content.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of various tech roles and job opportunities, enabling you to explore your options and align your skills accordingly.
- Discover more about our hosts, KX Recruit, and learn about tech opportunities on the King’s Cross Estate and beyond.
ELIGIBILITY: This event is only open to those living in the 33 London boroughs. You need to be currently unemployed, working part time for 16 hours per week or less, or on a zero hours contract. You cannot already be in any form of education, and you must not already have a computer science degree.
You also need the right to work in the UK. Some of the training opportunities discussed at this event also have upper age limits, although many of them do not.
