In this exciting position as a Junior UX Support Officer, you will be supporting the UX Researcher as part of the vibrant Digital team, focusing on the user experience of the Historic England website.
This is an excellent development opportunity to join a team that builds and maintains Historic England`s digital offer. As part of a team with skills in UX, design and development you will support the development the Historic England website – how the site works and how our customers interact with it.
You will primarily focus on the user experience, understanding our customers and end users to ensure we deliver a usable and accessible website.
Essential Skills
Historic England are looking for a candidate with
- Understanding of the value of UX and user testing
- Some experience in working with statistics and analytics, manipulating and interrogating date
- Experience of good communication and skills and working in collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders at different levels
- Self-motivated to work individually on set tasks and projects
- Experience of contributing to various projects with a range of techniques and approaches
- Ability to work well in a team
