About the role

NCFE is committed to developing our colleagues through our Vision for our People and we’re excited to be able to offer an opportunity to work for us as an Apprentice, allowing you to join our Skills Assessment team whilst studying towards a Maths and English qualification.

The role of Customer Service Apprentice is critical to the success of NCFEs ambitious income growth targets. You’ll be part of a team responsible for the growth, retention and New Business of our Skills Assessment products and the wider NCFE products and services on offer being able to offer our NCFE products through our targeted Verticals and Sectors. 

 

In this apprenticeship, you’ll learn how to demonstrate excellent customer service skills and behaviours as well as product and/or service knowledge when delivering to your customers. Your customer interactions may cover a wide range of situations and can include;  Teams face-to-face, telephone, email and live chat.

 

Your apprenticeship training will take place over 12 months and will include both on and off-the-job learning. In a typical week you’ll spend 20% of your time on off-the-job training which can include shadowing, online learning, and self-directed learning. You’ll also receive support from a mentor who will monitor your training progress.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Providing a high level of support/ Training over the phone/ teams & possibly F2F of allocated customer based to retain and grow Skills Assessment customer base, though renewals and Mid Term Adjustments
  • Providing commercially accurate proposals for Renewals and Mid Term Adjustments
  • Supporting Customer based with queries via Phone, Email and Live Chat
  • Supporting Customer base with on boarding sessions and on-going training needs on the Skills Assessment system
