OVERVIEW CLIC is a new, free employability programme funded by Barclays, specifically to support care experienced young people to gain valuable skills, and help empower them to work towards employment, further education or training/upskilling. WHAT DO PARTICIPANTS GET? • 1-1 bespoke advice and guidance from a Career Mentor • Support to stabilise personal circumstances and help start thinking about a career • Advocating on your behalf with various stakeholders • Skills and confidence required to apply for a job • In-work support on getting a job and work with employers to support you • Monthly social events to connect to like minded people WHO’S IT FOR? Age – 18 – 30 year olds Location – Liverpool City Regions Employment status - Participants should have experience of the care system and not be in education, employment or training.
