The Role
As an Accounts Assistant Apprentice, you will play a key role in supporting our finance team while completing a nationally recognized qualification in accounting. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain practical, on-the-job experience while developing the skills needed for a successful career in finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with day-to-day financial operations, including processing invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Supporting the preparation of financial reports and documents.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Liaising with internal departments and external clients to resolve financial queries.
- Learning and applying financial systems and software.
- Supporting the team with administrative tasks as required.
- A keen interest in pursuing a career in accounting and finance.
- Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
