About the opportunity

The HR Support Apprentice will work alongside the HR & People Administrators to support the HR & People Team to provide an effective, efficient and professional HR service to North Yorkshire Hospice Care. This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly and supportive HR & People team, providing support to a range of HR functions. The vacancy is based at our main hospice site in Harrogate, close to transport links with free parking.

Requirements

• An interest in and understanding of HR processes
• Experience of customer service or in a people-facing role
• Experience in the use of a range of software packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail and the internet
• Excellent organisational skills with an ability to manage own workload and priorities
• Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal with face-to-face and telephone enquiries providing a high level of service to staff and volunteers
• Ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality
• Ability to produce work of a high standard with a high level of accuracy
