About The Opportunity

A traineeship is a course with work experience that gets you ready for work or an apprenticeship. It can last up to 7-8 weeks.

You’ll get:

• A work experience placement
• Help with English and maths (if you need it)
• You won’t be paid, but you may be given expenses for things like travel.

Tasks Include:

• Assisting recreation and leisure coordinators with varying activities for the residents
• Assisting the housekeeping staff to carry out cleaning and laundry duties
• Assisting the kitchen staff and undertaking kitchen duties including cleaning, preparing cooking and serving food
• Serving meals and drinks to residents and helping those who need it
• Undertaking basic admin and reception duties

Eligibility

You can apply if you’re:

• Eligible to work in England
• Unemployed and have little or no work experience
• Aged 16 to 24 and qualified above and below Level 3
