The Good Youth Employment Symposium launches with support from Mims Davies MP, find out more about the session and the week ahead.
The Good Youth Employment Symposium has been launched by Youth Employment UK as a means to connect experts, employers and youth voice. Its goal is to explore the youth employment landscape with regards to the barriers young people face in terms of social mobility, disadvantaged backgrounds and exclusion due to their race, disability, mental wellbeing and experience of the justice system.
Diane Modahl MBE kicked off the Good Youth Employment Symposium today with our 1,000 Opportunities session.
This inaugural session was supported by Tony Wilson (Institute Director at The Institute of Employment Studies), Patrick Cantellow (Digital Marketing Apprentice Level 4 at Kreston reeves and Non-Executive Director at Youth Employment UK), Mims Davies MP, Minister for Employment, Clare Hatton-Boden (Head of Skills Delivery at West Midlands Combined Authority) and Laura-Jane Rawlings, CEO of Youth Employment UK.
