Girls’ Attitudes Survey: Girlguiding

Girlguiding have released their annual Girl’s Attitudes Survey, the research spans the initial phases of lockdown and provide interesting results.

This latest research from Girlguiding gives insight into how 2,000 girls and young women feel about their everyday life and the pressures they feel. Research began before lockdown in early March and finished it in April, after schools closed due to Covid-19. Whilst the data spans two different realities some themes remain the same: girls and young women share that they face persistent and unfair barriers to being happy and confident. And they want to speak up on the decisions that affect their lives – especially in these extraordinary times.
