SCHOOL LEAVERS WELCOME:
You can apply as a school leaver with GCSEs or A Levels. You can read Natalie’s story to see how she started working at Pret after her A Levels and what happened next. Your level of qualification isn’t going to hold you back from experience, salary, qualifications and career exploration.
DID YOU KNOW?
You need to be in some form of education or training until you’re 18. A Pret Apprenticeship is great if you’re leaving school with GCSEs and want your training to take place in a real work environment, instead of academic lessons and more exams.
GET A DEGREE WITHOUT UNI:
Do you like the sound of a degree, but you’re not sure about university? Pret Apprenticeships go up to degree level, with a fully-funded BA Business Management Undergraduate degree. In plain speech, “fully funded” means you won’t pay a thing. With no student fees or debt to hold you back, you could be achieving management roles (and salaries) while uni graduates are just starting out on the shop floor.
STRESS-FREE APPLICATIONS:
Pret have made the application process as easy as possible, because the last thing you want after exams is more stress! Your enthusiasm and desire to try something new are valued by Pret, so you don’t need loads of qualifications or experience to get your foot in the door. Once you apply you’ll get an in-person shop interview. And the interview is designed to be stress-free too, because Pret wants to see you succeed.
EXPLORE YOUR PASSIONS:
Pret offers Experience Days aligned to your apprenticeship programme. They’re your chance to discover different areas of the business, whilst meeting other apprentices. Maybe you thought you’d love management, but actually you love sales? You’ve got room to explore!
TRY IT ON FOR SIZE:
There’s room to grow, but without the pressure. If you just want to try it out, you can. You could explore the ins and outs of being a Team Member for a year. You could grow into being a Team Leader in years 2-3. With a degree apprenticeship, you could shine as a Manager in year 4, with a degree qualification to match your amazing on the job training and experience!
