See how the Government’s £1.6bn National Skills Fund (NSF) can assist you in gaining a FREE level 3 qualification.
The government is investing £1.6billion through the National Skills Fund (NSF) over the next 3 years as a part of its long-term commitment to help everyone gain skills for life.
The National Skills Fund investments will help adults to train and gain the valuable skills they need to improve their job prospects to meet the immediate economic recovery and future skills needs.
Do you qualify for FREE qualifications?
The fund will support adults over the age of 19 who currently do not have a L3 qualification (equivalent to an advanced technical certificate or diploma) or higher, by accessing free Level 3 qualifications.
From April 2022, any adult in England earning under the National Living wage annually (£18,525), will also be able to access these qualifications for free, regardless of their prior qualification level.
NSF Opportunities in the West Midlands
The West Midlands has been given £10.9m to train residents between April 2022 and March 2023.
As the Lead accountable body, WMCA is working collaboratively with its delivery partners to ensure that the qualifications are offered across the region and deliver positive outcomes for the people of West Midlands.
Some of the courses available are:
- Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care
- Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Electrical Installation
- Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Practitioner
- Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Accounting
- Level 3 Certificate in Management
- Level 3 Certificate in Coding
