About Careers Leaders training

Careers Leaders training is making a real difference. The Careers & Enterprise Company offer both a fully funded training option and a free online induction for newly appointed Careers Leaders to help them understand the value of the role and the careers education landscape.

Over 2,000 Careers Leaders have already completed the fully funded training with 82% of careers leaders reporting a faster improvement towards achieving the Gatsby Benchmarks. The training equips Careers Leaders with all the knowledge they need across leadership, management, co-ordinations and networking to implement a strategic , whole school/college approach to careers.

This year, the Careers & Enterprise Company has partnered with nine high quality training providers to deliver this training.

You’ll be able to:

  • Choose from distant, face to face or blended learning courses
  • Network and make new connections with other Careers Leaders
  • Improve your knowledge of the orle and gain access to a qualification (up to level 7)

All Careers Leaders are eligible to apply for a fully funded training place.

Benefit from fully funded training

Training comes at no cost to you, your school, special school or college. Your institution will receive £1,000 upon completion of your course. We encourage Careers Leaders to use this towards furthering their CPD or careers programme.

Boost your knowledge, make an impact and accelerate towards achieving the Gatsby Benchmarks

Gain access to a qualification (up to level 7) with both non-accredited programmes. You will build your confidence to develop a careers programme that improves your school, special school, or college’s Gatsby Benchmarks. You will also gain a better understanding of the key aspects of careers theory and how these apply to your learners to implement more meaningful application of ALL the Gatsby Benchmarks.

Training designed and delivered in a flexible way

Choose from a range of courses and providers to suit your needs whether that’s face to face, virtual, or blended learning. A fully distance learning offer is also available.
