About the opportunity

Anyone of any age can apply for this apprenticeship but you must be out of education, if you are in school you cannot apply. If you are looking for a career in hospitality you can start as an Apprentice Front Of House Assistant and gain a Level 2 in Food and Beverage Service.

You will be required to work 40hrs a week, you will be paid weekly at £5.28 which is the apprentice rate. This hotel is situated in a rural location so please consider how you will reliably access the workplace on a daily basis. Accommodation possibly available on-site.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a high level of customer care at all times
• Sell and serve all food and drinks to Company standards
• Deal with customer complaints in accordance with company policy, to achieve a satisfactory outcome
• Maximise the full sales potential of the bar and restaurant and ensure that standards are maintained at all times
• Present the customer’s bill and ensure the correct payment is received for all goods served
• Ensure all cruets and accompaniments are kept clean, filled and well stocked throughout the session
• Clean and tidy all service areas including display materials and equipment
• Ensure that legal requirements are strictly adhered to e.g. Licensing Laws, Trade Descriptions Act, Weights and Measures Act, Food Hygiene (general) Regulations, plus any others that may affect the business
