Youth Employment UK is a not-for-profit organisation that exists to tackle youth unemployment. To help young people develop the confidence, skills and knowledge for their journey to work we have an extensive range of free skills and careers resources that includes a modular programme called the Young Professional, a comprehensive Careers Hub, Workbooks, Opportunity Finder and virtual introductions to the world of work.
Our free resources are aimed at 14-24 year olds across the UK, regardless of their education, employment or training status. We reach more than 250,000 young people a month. Our work is supported by The Careers & Enterprise Company, PiXL and a wide range of partners and providers. We map our resources to Gatsby, Skills Builder, CDI and the JET Framework.
In this webinar we will provide a walk through of our resources and share how schools, colleges, alternative provision, charities and youth organisations are utilising our services to support the young people in their network.
The webinar will include an inside look at the course materials, how the group management capabilities can help to monitor progress and how the course’s flexibility makes it a perfect resource in any setting where young people can be supported to improve their skills and confidence.
Key Outcomes:
Understand the range of skills and careers resources available for young people
Understand the flexibility to utilise the resources as a Provider
Understand the network and support that comes with working with Youth Employment UK
