Food and Beverage Assistant Apprenticeship opportunity with Weetwood Hall Hotel & Conference Centre – Leeds #CreateYourFuture

Learn to be able to prepare for and service guests and execute conference and banqueting functions. You will work towards a Level 2 Hospitality Team Member apprenticeship standard.

Duties and responsibilities of the role are outlined below.

• Training provided to prepare lounge/meeting rooms for service according to the daily list of duties, ensure the room is ready for use by checking the overall condition
• Be trained in all service duties (subject to age) according to the agreed standard
• Maximise customer satisfaction by ensuring that the written daily function sheet and details of all assigned meetings are carried out properly
• Establish professional and courteous rapport with guests to maximise satisfaction and repeat business
• Process food and drinks orders in a prompt and efficient manner
• Learn and maintain thorough knowledge of all food menu items
• Process guest checks accurately. Receive payments from guests, process payments in the point of sale system
