The role
CAR magazine, the UK’s biggest automotive monthly by circulation, is recruiting a senior content editor to join its award-winning multi-channel team.
This is a senior role that would suit an experienced and ambitious automotive journalist with the skillset and creativity to take CAR to the next level.
This is a key role in ensuring CAR‘s ongoing success, and this individual will be instrumental in shaping CAR’s future.
Responsibility
Generate outstanding ideas for strategic deployment across CAR’s channels. Some of these you’ll create; some you’ll commission.
The Ideal Candidate
- Be full of brilliant ideas, both in terms of the stories CAR tells and how and where it tells them.
- Have plenty of editorial experience, with a deep knowledge of the automotive world, publishing practices and the craft of creating outstanding content.
- Have a proven track record of creating outstanding work across print, online and video.
- Know your way around a CMS, understand digital publishing best practice and have a good working SEO knowledge.
- Be a fine writer and video presenter able to deliver great stories yourself and commission them from others.
