PRIDE, JUNE AND THE FUTURE

What organisations need to do beyond Pride Month to support colleagues and employers LGBTQIA+

There is overwhelming research to show that a diverse workforce brings many advantages to an organization. Diversity helps draw top talent and stimulate innovation, and employees with diverse backgrounds bring their own perspectives, ideas and experiences, helping to create organizations that are resilient and effective. On top of this, people are happier and perform significantly better when they can be themselves at work.

In recent years organisations across every sector have made huge efforts to create an inclusive workplace and support their employees from all backgrounds and communities. Despite these efforts though, more than a third of LGBTQIA+ people asked recently stated that they hide their sexuality at work, and 20% have experienced discrimination in the workplace or when applying for a job.

It is clear that more needs to be done to make LGBTQIA+ people feel comfortable at work. This FREE webinar aims to cover what organizations can do to demolish career barriers, reduce workplace discrimination, and better support their employees who identify as LGBTQIA+.
