About this webinar
Youth Employment UK’s CEO Laura-Jane Rawlings interviewed our Director of Strategy, Impact & Communications, Lauren Mistry on the opportunities and challenges of supporting young people who are working from home or in a hybrid environment.
Over the last 3 years there has been a shift in the way people work, caused by the Covid 19 Pandemic but the change is here to stay with around 30% of workers currently working from home at least one day per week.
In this In Conversation webinar we explored the following key areas that will help HR leaders, line managers and supervisors understand how to support young people in particular with this new arrangement:
- what are the challenges of home working for young people?
- how to prepare and support young people for home working
- how to deal with challenges of home working
- how to make arrangements for young people to ensure that they have the best development opportunities and employee experiences
We used the data from the Youth Voice Census 2022 and our expert insight of best youth employment practice to bring together this practical and interactive session to help organisations be youth-friendly when it comes to supporting young remote workers.
