In this webinar, Youth Employment UK CEO Laura-Jane Rawlings will discuss some of the new government policy around technical education (T-Levels) and look at the impact the Apprenticeship Levy has had on youth employment and some of the innovation from employers who are really developing their youth employment offer based on the new reforms. The webinar will also look to the Careers Strategy due to launch this Autumn and the progress being made with the roll-out of Universal Credit and the Youth Obligation.
There will be a brief update on the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Youth Employment and its current inquiry (supporting young people furthest from the labour market), and our work with EY and their Parental Advice campaign..
Finally LJ will showcase our new Community Members resources and Careers Hub sharing with attendees the big sector campaigns we are running and our plans to support a million young people by 2020.
