Embedding the Young Professional Membership in schools

Last week our CEO Laura-Jane Rawlings and two of our Youth Ambassadors, Rob and Tim visited Aldridge School to talk about Young Professional Membership.

Our Young Professional Membership is free to access for all young people, earlier this year we launched a range of assemblies to help schools & colleges embed the programme. We love to test our resources and where possible we go out to schools and help launch Young Professional resources.

We invite Youth Ambassadors to attend these events with us as they take their peer role responsibilities very seriously, and we are keen that young people hear from other young people! Rob and Tim shared their thoughts on having a plan after education and to talk about the different pathways young people have.

Following our assembly we worked with a group of young people to sign them up to the website and work through the Young Professional test together, we received great feedback and some excellent ideas for future plans. It was good to see how involved these young people are and that ready to make their first steps into the future.
