More about this event
This fantastic FREE in-person event hosted by London Digital Jobs & Skills Hub and The Prince’s Trust is for Londoners who are currently unemployed or working a zero hour contract and are interested in starting a new career in Digital or Tech. At this, you can:
> Discover the different exciting job roles out there across these industries
> Help YOU figure out which jobs could be for you with interactive taster sessions
> Learn how to access these jobs without any previous experience or qualifications
> Hear from people who have recently started on their journeys into digital and tech.
You will also have the opportunity to try some of the skills used in digital or tech jobs, joining either ‘Try out your tech skills’ or ‘Digital Marketing test drive’.
We are also very pleased to have Lordwin Anim from Microsoft share how to rock your LinkedIn as an essential tool in your job search.
Worried about travel costs? Don’t worry. The Prince’s Trust will reimburse your travel costs from anywhere in London for anyone attending this event. Just pay for your travel normally, and you will receive the money back in cash at the event. This only applies to public transport, not taxis or Ubers.
This event itself is open to anyone under 30. The programmes and training opportunities that will be discussed at the event are only open to those living in the 33 London boroughs who are currently unemployed/underemployed, not already currently in education, and who have the right to work in the UK. Most future events from London Digital Jobs & Skills Hub will be open to people over 30 as well.
