Responsibilities

Developing self

  • Take ownership for keeping your service knowledge and skills up to date.
  • To update all areas of knowledge, skills and behaviours as required to carry out the job with maximum effectiveness and to attend training/development courses as and when required.
  • You will be required to complete a study and apprenticeship program. Successful completion will result in a Customer Service Specialist Level 3 apprenticeship. You will be required to commit to a blended learning package and allocated off the job training time during your working week to assist in your studies. Completion of this apprenticeship will lead to eligibility to join the Institute of Customer Service as an Individual member at
  • Professional level.
  • Consider personal goals and propose development that would help achieve them.

Team working

  • Frequently and consistently communicate and work with others in the interest of helping customers efficiently.
  • Share personal learning and case studies with others, presenting recommendations, and improvement to support good practice.

Skills / Experience

  • Applications will be considered from those who have or are likely to obtain a Minimum of a Grade 4 ( formerly Grade C) or above in GCSE in Maths and English.
  • Predicted grades must be verified by official School reports.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to negotiate at all levels
  • Working understanding of standard Microsoft software packages
