Construction Traineeship With Thames Water: #CreateYourFuture – Ixion

Join Ixions 8-week traineeship programme in partnership with Thames Water that includes 2 week’s work experience and construction qualifications, and the opportunity to progress into employment!

An Ixion traineeship also provides you with a training allowance of £160.00 per month for the duration of your course to support costs such as travel. If you are in receipt of benefits these will not be affected.

At the end of your placement you will receive a guaranteed interview with the opportunity to progress into employment with Thames Water.

The 8-week programme includes:

  • 3 weeks of employability sessions
  • 3 weeks of construction
  • 2 weeks work experience to put your new skills into practice!

You will also learn and gain:

  • Communication skills
  • Time Management skills
  • Teamworking
  • Problem Solving
  • Level 1/2  Construction qualification
  • Level 1 Employability qualification
  • Up to Level 2 English and maths (if required)
  • Digital Skills

Duration:

6 weeks

Eligibility:

  • You need to be 18-24
  • Not in employment, education or training
  • Open to care leavers, black minority groups and ex-offenders
