Raise money for a good cause!

The #StayInStepUp challenge is all about keeping busy and staying inside. It is a youth-led project developed with our amazing volunteer Youth Ambassadors, but is open for everyone to get involved.

About the Stay In Step Up Challenge

50% of all money raised goes to AgeUK, a charity working tirelessly to support our elderly community who may be isolated and at most risk due to Coronavirus. The remaining 50% go to help us keep building free skills and careers resources and support for all young people in the UK. We’re a non-profit organisation and really appreciate your efforts. It’s easy to get started – just read on!

HOW TO TAKE PART

  • Set a daily step count to achieve at home.
  • Meet your daily step count
  • Raise donations for taking part!

First, set a step challenge for each day. 2,500? 10,000? You know your body best. If mobility is an issue or you fancy a different challenge you can count fist bumps, dance minutes or anything else! Ask for donations from friends and family to raise money for AgeUK and Youth Employment UK. Then aim to meet your steps count at home every day if you can, and share your fun attempts on Twitter, TikTok and wherever you like!

This challenge will end on the 14th June.

Online career resources and things to do

Time doesn't stand still just because you are at home for a while due to Coronavirus. You can go easy on yourself, and you don't have to do superheroic levels of study. But you can still do little things to help you make the most of opportunities when social distancing and self-isolation come to an end. Here are some examples.
