One of our brilliant organisational members is doing some research on the effectiveness of coaching young people who are unemployed. He is looking to expand this research and want to work with 3 or 4 young people on a pro-bono basis.
“I have first-hand experience of the power and benefits of coaching, having coached many young people over the last two years. I believe that it can have a significant impact in helping the young unemployed to move into employment or certainly closer to it. Presently my evidence is purely anecdotal and I plan to undertake research to produce the empirical evidence to support my belief. I am seeking 3 to 4 young (16 to 24) unemployed people to whom I will provide 6 one hour telephone or Skype coaching sessions and an initial intake session on a pro-bono basis.
I am a qualified personal performance coach, certified NLP practitioner, have a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) and am a qualified accountant. I have held senior positions in financial management since qualifying with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) in 1994. Saddened by seeing so much young potential going to waste I set up yourcareer-mentor.com in 2012 to help young unemployed people to identify their ideal career, plan to make it happen and live the happy and fulfilled life they deserve.” Peter Knight – Your Career Mentor
