Future Genetics is a precision medicine research company based in Wolverhampton.
The employer is recruiting a Bio-Statistician through the Kickstart Scheme.
In this role you will be working and be part of the largest clinical research study of its kind, which is called EMPOWER 1.
This study is designed to reduce health inequalities that exist between ethnic populations in the UK.
The study is generating very large datasets that relate to disease epidemiology and progression along with variations in the suitability of the medicines for different populations.
As a Bio-Statistician you will work closely with three of the company’s current medical records analysts to establish the statistical significance of different datasets and analyses.
To be eligible for this role you will have a BSc Biostatistics statistics, a knowledgable of medical terminology and basic physiology and a willingness to apply innovative programming techniques to solve critical problems.
