Employment and training opportunity for assistant workshop facilitators aged between 16 -20 for work in Birmingham & the West Midlands.

This summer, EVERFI will be delivering Bring the Power workshops for young people aged 5 -14 in schools and youth settings across the West Midlands. Bring the Power is an education initiative for young people created by the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.

EVERFI is looking for enthusiastic assistant workshop facilitators to join the team for work in the West Midlands during the summer term 2022 (April – August 8th). Some evening work will be required. Successful candidates will be invited to work alongside lead facilitators to deliver a range of workshops.

Further ahead, there may be opportunities to work on EVERFI national touring programmes. You will be given full training and will be provided with coaching and mentoring throughout the project. They offer competitive rates of pay.

Essential requirements:

• Interest in working in education
• Strong presentation skills
• Ability to work with schools and youth clubs across Birmingham and the West Midlands (the project base will be Big BrumTheatre in Education, Sheldon)
• Ability to work creatively as part of a team

Desired requirements:

• Experience of working with young people
• Acting experience / Teaching experience / Coaching experience / Experience of delivering workshop
