Apprentice Carpenter with Horbury Group – 8th September #CreateYourFuture

The successful candidate will be expected to perform a wide range of duties covering all aspects of carpentry & joinery maintenance applicable to the trade and day to day reactive maintenance. You will learn on the job as well as attending weekly day release. Your role will be varied and you will work with experienced Carpenters day-to-day.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidates to complete an apprenticeship which will include vocational training, study and work and will eventually lead to a qualification as a skilled craftsperson.

The chosen candidate’s duties include (but are not limited to):

• Install door and window frames
• Install structures and fixtures, such as windows and moulding
• Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures
• Instruct and direct labourers and other construction helpers
