Did you know that roles in the tech sector pay 55% higher than the national average. Apprenticeships are a fantastic way to get into various different jobs across the Tech industry. In a nutshell, an apprenticeship is where you earn a salary working in a real job and actively split your time between learning while on that job, and studying and completing coursework. But this event is going to explain everything you need to know in much more detail! So if you live in London and are currently unemployed or working less than 16 hours a week and interested in getting into the tech sector – you don’t want to miss this event! We’ll be talking all about the apprenticeships currently available via our partners Ada College. At this event you can:

- Join our optional workshop on CVs and cover letters
- Get support with your applications
- Have your questions answered
**ELIGIBILITY** – Please be aware that this event its self and the training opportunities discussed at this event are strictly only open to people who meet the following eligibility criteria. Please do not book a ticket for this event if you do not meet ALL of the following criteria:
- You MUST be currently unemployed OR working part-time for 16 hours per week or less OR you are on a zero hours contract.
- You MUST currently live in 1 of the 33 London boroughs proper, unfortunately any area just outside of London doesn’t count.
- You must NOT already currently be in any form of education.
- You must NOT already have a Computer Science degree or any degree relevant to the career you want to break into.
- You MUST have the legal right to live and work in the UK, and you MUST have lived in the UK or EEA for a minimum of 3 years (unless you have refugee status with the legal right to work in the UK).
Please also be aware that, while not all of the training opportunities we connect people with have an upper age limit, some of them do.

This event is NOT a recruitment event. There will be no recruitment activity at this event of any kind. This is an information and discussion event designed to raise awareness of the FREE training opportunities available to eligible Londoners.
The funding provided to London Digital Jobs & Skills Hub is specifically allocated for helping people who meet the eligibility requirements listed above.
